With enough cockpit, helm, and forward seating to entertain a small crowd, the boat has a unique layout that maximizes the deck and cabin space more efficiently than most all center consoles in its class. While most larger center consoles feature a small cabin forward of the helm and a seating area in the bow, the 409 Valor cleverly swaps those two areas. By putting the cabin forward in the bow and bringing the outdoor seating area aft, passengers experience a much smoother ride underway by being further aft in the boat. With guests sitting just forward of the helm, the layout also keeps the captain involved in the conversation and entertainment. Perhaps most importantly, the layout allows the cabin to be built underneath the deck of the seating area, which cannot be done with the traditional center console layout. Without sacrificing exterior space and seating, the boat creates a much more accommodating cabin with two berths, hull side windows, and separate shower stall.
